Oregon’s first season in the Big Ten was a raging success. The Ducks went undefeated in the regular season and won the Big Ten championship game over Penn State to earn the No. 1 seed in the College Football Playoff.
It didn’t go well in the CFP quarterfinals against Ohio State, but the Ducks can officially turn the page to the 2025-26 season when they hold the annual Spring Game on April 26 at Autzen Stadium.
The good news for fans is Oregon futures odds available at the best online sportsbooks suggest another strong season in the second run through the Big Ten is upcoming. Here is a look at the best Oregon futures bets to make ahead of the Spring game.

Under 10.5 regular-season wins
Best odds: -105 at Caesars Sportsbook
The most important variable to consider before placing an Oregon futures wager for the 2025-26 season is how good the new quarterback will be. It’s tough to step into the Nikes of Dillon Gabriel, who set an all-time NCAA mark with 189 total touchdowns and immediately begin sprinting.
After redshirting last season, former 5-star prospect Dante Moore appears to be Gabriel’s heir apparent. Moore gave an oral commitment to play for Oregon in high school, but signed with UCLA. He transferred to Oregon after one unimpressive season in SoCal.
Moore passed for 1,610 yards while completing just 53.5% of attempts in nine games. His 11 touchdowns and nine interceptions left much to be desired, too.
In other words, Moore will have to be significantly better if Oregon wants another strong season in 2025. Moore’s spring game performance will be heavily scrutinized, including by some special guest coaches on handThe good news Moore will be supported by running back Noah Whittington, who plans to return to Oregon for his sixth season.
Oregon can only lose once during the regular season to cash a ticket on Over 10.5 wins. Luckily, the Ducks do not have to play Ohio State — the favorite to win the conference title. Oregon also does not have to play Michigan or Illinois, which are in the top five on Big Ten championship oddsboards.
The Ducks’ toughest game is Sept. 27 at Penn State. According to the odds, Indiana and USC are the next two most difficult opponents, but both teams travel to Eugene. On the other hand, don’t discount how challenging it is to win at Iowa, which Oregon must do on Nov. 8.
The non-conference schedule (home games against Montana, Oregon State and Oklahoma State) is manageable.
Nobody would be surprised if Oregon wins at least 11 regular-season games, but the Ducks have done that only once under coach Dan Lanning. This time they don’t have one of the nation’s best quarterbacks.
If you like the Over, the best odds are available at DraftKings Sportsbook where the juice on Over 10.5 wins is -105.
Oregon to win the Big Ten championship
Best odds: +280 at DraftKings Sportsbook
What a transition it would be if Oregon could swoop in and win conference titles in its first two seasons. The Ducks left little doubt last season after escaping with a thrilling win over Ohio State. The fact they do not have to face Ohio State this year in Columbus is an advantage in its quest to reach the Big Ten championship game.
The Buckeyes are the favorite, but they lost major talent from last season’s national championship squad and also are debuting a new quarterback. Their road games against Washington, Wisconsin, Illinois and Michigan will not be easy.
Oregon is the second favorite to win the conference title, trailing only Ohio State at Bet365 Sportsbook and FanDuel Sportsbook. DraftKings lists Oregon behind Ohio State and Penn State.
Remember, Oregon only needs to finish in the top two during the regular season to qualify for the Big Ten championship game. The Ducks will be in the driver’s seat to qualify if they lose just one conference game.
Oregon to win the national championship
Best odds: +750 at BetMGM Sportsbook
Oregon has never won a football national championship, but the Ducks are almost as likely to break through next season as any other team. The top sports betting apps list the Ducks anywhere from second to fifth in the national championship odds betting market.
As Ohio State proved last season, the national championship winner feels more wide-open in the 12-team era of the College Football Playoff. Ohio State was the No. 8 seed and won four games to take the title.
If Oregon can qualify for the 12-team field, the new quarterback will have had 12 games to develop and master the offense. All a team needs is a seat at the table and to get hot at the right time. Don’t count out the Ducks if Dante Moore reaches his 5-star potential and has a chance in the postseason.
