Premier League high-flyers Nottingham Forest take on Brighton in the quarterfinal of the FA Cup on Saturday at the Amex Stadium as head coach Nuno Espirito Santo looks to breach his club’s 34-year wait for a semifinal spot in the cup competition.
Forest went past the quarterfinal hurdle previously in the year 1991 under legendary manager Brian Clough, before losing out in the final of the oldest tournament in England to Tottenham.

Nuno, who has overseen Forest’s dream run in the English top flight with 54 points from 29 games this season as they stand third in the table, only behind table-toppers Liverpool and second-placed Arsenal.
“As a group and as a club, we have managed to change many things," Nuno began.
“We’ve broken records that have stood for 30, 40 years," the Portuguese boss said.
“Suddenly, we have another chance to break another. This is how we think," he elucidated.
Nuno added that going as far as they could in the cup event was an ambition for the club early on in the season and still persists to be so.
“Since the beginning of the FA Cup, we have had only one ambition — to go as far as possible," said the Forest gaffer.
“We want to go as far as possible in the FA Cup. We love this competition and our fans love it," the 51-year-old said.
Forest have delighted their fans with som scintillating football this season as the side have managed 16 victories, while drawing six and losing seven games this campaign. Their forward unit has clicked as well with the Nottingham-based club netting 49 times already in the season.
“In terms of the bond between fans and the squad, it is growing, it is getting stronger," Nuno iterated.
“There is a natural belief on both sides that we can do anything, as long as we keep our same approach, work as hard as we can," he signed off.
