GREENSBURG, PA (LOOTPRESS) โ A multi-agency investigation led by the Westmoreland County District Attorneyโs Office, Westmoreland County Drug Task Force, and agents with the Office of the Attorney General culminated in the arrest of Brandon Lewis at the Red Roof Inn in Greensburg on Friday, March 21, 2025.
Law enforcement executed a search warrant at the motel as part of an ongoing investigation.
Upon his return to the hotel, Lewis, who had active arrest warrants from both Pennsylvania and West Virginia, was taken into custody without incident.
During a search of his person, authorities discovered 36 grams of suspected fentanyl, 33 grams of suspected cocaine, and 27 grams of suspected heroin, with a total street value of around $13,200.
In addition, investigators uncovered a backpack inside the motel room that allegedly contained 29 bricks of suspected fentanyl and approximately $3,300 in cash.
Lewis reportedly told investigators that he was mistakenly released from the Mercer County Jail in February.
District Attorney Nicole W. Ziccarelli praised the cooperative effort of local, county, and state law enforcement agencies in stopping these dangerous drugs from reaching the streets.
Lewis was transported to the Westmoreland County Prison, and criminal charges are currently pending.
