
Marriott Hotels brand has announced the launch of a new resort in Jim Corbett National Park, Uttarakhand, marking the brand’s 13th hotel in India.
The Jim Corbett Marriott Resort & Spa is situated on the banks of the Kosi River. It features 99 rooms that include technology-enabled workspaces and appointed bathrooms.
Marriott International South Asia vice-president Ranju Alex said: “This opening reflects our commitment to expanding in India’s most sought-after travel destinations, providing guests with world-class hospitality in harmony with nature.
“Jim Corbett Marriott Resort & Spa, our 13th hotel under the brand in India, is designed to provide refined accommodations, exceptional service and immersive experiences.”
The resort’s dining options include The Corbett Kitchen, an all-day dining restaurant serving international and traditional Kumaoni cuisine, and the Malani Grill, offering an outdoor dining experience inspired by nature’s five elements.
Catering to a diverse range of travellers, the resort offers a Kids Club, a nature-inspired playground; and The Jungle entertainment zone, complete with a gaming arcade, a golf simulator, and board games.
For events and celebrations, the resort provides 5,068m² of space, including a pillarless ballroom and a pre-function area with views of the Malani Hills.

In October 2024, Marriott International entered an agreement with Prestige Falcon Realty Ventures to introduce the EDITION Hotels brand to South Asia, with plans for a new establishment in Mumbai, India.
