Addition at KCI Airport welcomes everyone to the ‘lounge life’
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - The lounge life is no longer just for rich travelers, business travelers, or people with airline status.
The new Escape Lounge at KCI Airport is now open. The lounge allows anyone with an airline ticket to pay per visit. Admission starts at $30 a person.
The Escape Lounge features complimentary food and drinks, and other perks for travelers visiting the airport before leaving for a trip, or on a layover.
It is also family friendly. Children under two years old can enter the lounge free of charge.
Escape Lounge is open daily from 4:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. in Concourse A.
Admission can be booked online before you arrive at KCI Airport, or you can show up to the lounge and pay at the door to enter, according to the business. The lounge is cashless, so a credit card is required to book.
There is a dress code to enter the lounge. It is described as “smart casual.” That means:
- No clothes with offensive slogans
- No shorts above the knee
- Men must keep shoulders covered, so no tank tops or sleeveless jerseys
The admission price includes the following:
- Unlimited ultra-fast private WiFi
- Charging ports and power outlets
- Print, scan and copy services
- Pressreader with access to newspapers and magazines
- Fresh dishes from a chef-curated menu
- Coffee, tea, soft drinks
Escape Lounge will hold a grand opening on Thursday, April 3.
