LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Police said a southern Indiana woman who drove the wrong way on the interstate also bit an Indiana State Police trooper.

Officers said they spotted the woman driving the wrong way on Interstate 64, and she traveled through Warrick, Spencer, Dubois and Perry counties before they were able to stop her.

While an ISP trooper was trying to arrest the driver, they said 33-year-old Lauren Jones of Corydon bit her.

Jones was taken to Jasper Memorial Hospital before going to the Dubois County jail.

She faces a long list of charges, including operating a vehicle while under the influence, resisting law enforcement and battery.
