A Monterey County beach was named one of the best in the United States by Travel and Leisure, and three other California beaches also made the list.The ranking was for the 25 Best Beaches in the USA, and Carmel Beach in Carmel-by-the-Sea made the list. "This spectacular white-sand beach, located at the foot of Ocean Avenue, is a popular surfing spot. Visitors can enjoy a dip in the cool, crystal-clear waters with views of Pebble Beach to the north and Point Lobos to the south," Travel and Leisure said. The other California beaches that made the list were: Pope Beach in Lake Tahoe Santa Monica BeachCoronado Beach in San DiegoThe Golden State had the most beaches that made the list.
