Those looking for a summer holiday can now visit new resorts with TUI.
TUI Lakes and Mountains has expanded its programme for summer 2024 with towns described as "offering breath-taking views of crystal-clear waters" on offer. The four new destinations are Ascona, Locarno, Lake Orta and Nassfeld.
The hotspots across Italy, Switzerland, and Austria, combine natural beauty, outdoor adventure, cultural exploration, and relaxation. Trips are available from May, flying from Manchester.

New TUI holiday destinations for summer 2024 :
Ascona, Switzerland
On sale now, Ascona holidays will be available for travel between May 20 and September 13. Being Switzerland’s lowest lying town, Ascona lies on the shores of Lake Maggiore, which is situated on the south side of the Alps and spans across Switzerland and Italy, offering breathtaking views of crystal-clear waters against the backdrop of the Swiss Alps.
TUI Lakes and Mountains offers seven-night holidays to Ascona, staying at the 4T Romantik Hotel Castello Seeschlosson a bed and breakfast basis. Prices start from £1376 per person based on two adults sharing, return flights from Manchester on May 28 and transfers.
Locarno, Switzerland
In addition, TUI Lakes and Mountains has added Locarno to its portfolio, with holidays available for travel between May 11 and September 19. Locarno is known as the town that offers the warmest climate in Switzerland and is again situated in the idyllic setting of Lake Maggiore. What’s more, Locarno plays host to the renowned Film Festival, infusing the region, drawing film-lovers from around the globe.
Lake Maggiore offers the perfect opportunities for guests to relax by the lakeside and explore the towns narrow lanes with boutiques before getting stuck into outdoor activities both on land and on the water; from hiking and mountain biking trails that meander through the surrounding valleys and forests to sailing, windsurfing, and kayaking on the lake's pristine waters.
