Abylgaziev and Deputy Prime Minister of Mongolia discuss prospects for cooperation

Bishkek, Oct. 12, 2018. /Kabar/. Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Mukhammedkalyi Abylgaziev and Deputy Prime Minister of Mongolia Ulziisaikhan Enkhtuvshin discussed the state of and prospects for the bilateral cooperation, the press service of the Kyrgyz Government Office reported.

During the meeting the head of government noted that the Kyrgyz Republic always advocates consistent development of the bilateral cooperation with Mongolia, and expressed his hope that today’s meeting will give impetus to enhancement of the work in this direction.

“We need to intensify the trade-economic cooperation between our countries, which has the potential for development”, Abylgaziev said.

In turn, the Deputy Prime Minister of Mongolia expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to meet and discuss issues of the Kyrgyz-Mongolian cooperation.

The sides took note of the importance to deepen the cooperation in priority areas taking into account cultural and historical ties of the peoples of the two countries, and agreed to hold the next meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade-Economic and Cultural-Humanitarian Cooperation in Bishkek in the near future.

During the meeting the importance of experience exchange in mining industry and tourism, with regard for the considerable tourism potential the two countries possess, was noted.

The meeting mentioned took place within the session of the Heads of Government Council of Shanghai Cooperation Organization member states, which is to take place on October 12, in Dushanbe, the Republic of Tajikistan.
