ENTERPRISE, Ore. (AP) — Oregon State Police say two people have died in a three-wheeled motorcycle crash in northeastern Oregon.

Police say 79-year-old driver Galen Rottinghaus of Oak Harbor, Washington, lost control of the motorcycle on Friday as a group of motorcyclists slowed to turn into the Joseph Canyon Viewpoint on State Route 3.

The motorcycle overturned on the shoulder.

Police say 77-year-old Patricia Ann Evans of El Cajon, California, died at the scene.

Rottinghaus was transported by helicopter to a regional medical center where he was later pronounced deceased.
