American Express Global Business Travel expects to complete its acquisition of Hogg Robinson Group this week.

Hogg Robinson is a global business-to-business services company specialising in travel management.

American Express Global Business Travel expected to close the deal on Thursday, July 19th, following the receipt of EU merger control clearance.

The transaction was previously cleared by regulators in Russia and the United States.

The combined group is expected to offer clients and travellers a wider range of products and services, bringing together the best of both businesses including technology, people and a comprehensive geographic footprint.
